GISEC Global 2025 hosted the School of Cyber Defense CTF, the UAE’s largest government-led cybersecurity hackathon, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, drawing over 130 participants from top universities across the country.

Led by Mr. Danish, students of BSc (Hons) Cyber Security and BSc ( Hons) Creative Computing at Bath Spa University Academic Centre RAK, UAE, actively participated in an event organized by the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) and TechFirm, the three-day competition featured intense real-world cybersecurity challenges, including incident response, network defense, and system security. Finalists were grouped into 10 Incident Response Teams and evaluated via a live scoring platform. The event highlighted emerging talent, hands-on skills, and industry-level cyber defense under pressure.
